DESCRIPTION:The ABA Kyle Stallions are excited to welcome the incoming ABA teams to Kyle\, Texas. Attached is the schedule for this week's games.\n\nPlease note: The first 100 Lehman High School\, the first 100 Hays High School and the first 50 Live Oak students who present their school id's receive free admission starting tonight thru Friday. Student prices are $10 for the championship with student id. We look forward to seeing you!\n\n\n\n\n\nThe American Basketball Association proudly presents the Elite 8 Tournament in Kyle\, TX\, April 2nd   7th.  The best of the best will battle it out for the coveted Championship.  \n\n \n\nThe four-time defending champions\, The Jacksonville Giants\, received a bye in the playoffs.  \n\n \n\nThe teams come from all over the United States:  California\, Alabama\, Texas\, Florida\, Kentucky\, Maryland and New York.  Over 120 teams began the season with the hopes of claiming the top spot in the league.\n\n \n\nThe wildcard games will be held on Monday night\, April 2nd.  The Championship game will be Saturday night\, April 7th. All games will be at the Lehman Gym\, 1700 Lehman Rd\, Kyle\, TX.\n\n \n\nThe American Basketball Associations Elite 8 is being hosted by the ABA Austin Bats and produced by their franchise owner Leticia Luna.\n\n \n\nThe ABA is a fast moving\, high scoring league.  The three-point shot and slam dunk competitions originated in the league.  NBA teams that started in the ABA include the San Antonio Spurs\, Indiana Pacers\, Denver Nuggets\, and Brooklyn Nets (formerly in New Jersey).  NBA All-Stars that played in the ABA include Julius "Dr. J" Irving\, Artis Gilmore\, Christian Laettner\, George "Iceman" Gervin\, Ricky Barry and Moses Malone.\n\n \n\nThe American Basketball Association (ABA) is a men's professional basketball league.  The ABA was established in 1967 and merged with the National Basketball Association.  The ABA was relaunched in 1999 by Joe Newman and Richard P. Tinkham.
