DESCRIPTION:Sign up online: https://ww2.inyourhandsonline.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/45886 --- To kick off the New Year\, Kyle United Methodist Church will be hosting a Blood Drive with the Central Texas Blood & Tissue Center\, Sunday\, January 24 from 8:30am-noon in the Family Life Center. January is National Blood Donor Awareness month and we have a goal of having 30 people donate that day. Donating is easy and the requirements change all the time\, although there are restrictions on those who have lived overseas and those taking certain medications. The coordinator for this event shared a story about a group of friends in Austin\, all 55 and over\, who donate as a group as often as possible. The average age of these folks is 70\, so please do not let age be a deterrent.
