Burleson Rd.\, Kyle. All voters are invited to get to know other Democrats from Kyle and Buda\, meet candidates running for office\, and register to vote. Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to the Hays County Food Bank. \n\nKyle/Buda-Area Democrats is a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting Democratic candidates and the values of the Democratic party. Membership is open to all Democrats in Kyle\, Buda and the surrounding areas of Hays County.\n\n"We are excited to host this ice cream social as a way to welcome the community to get to know other area Democrats\," said KBAD board secretary David Doerr. "Kyle/Buda-Area Democrats is dedicated to building relationships with residents through hosting voter registration events\, sponsoring candidate forums and community service projects   all of which will be part of this debut event."\n\nCandidates attending include Julie Oliver (U.S. House\, District 25)\, Ruben Becerra (Hays County Judge)\, Elaine Cardenas (Hays County Clerk)\, Steven Kirkland (Justice\, Supreme Court\, Place 2)\, Kathy Cheng (Justice\, Supreme Court\, Place 6)\, Thomas Baker (Justice\, 3rd Court of Appeals\, Place 5)\, and Gisela Triana (Justice\, 3rd Court of Appeals\, Place 6).
