DESCRIPTION:?CTMC Family Grief Center will offer a Life After Loss Adult\nSupport Group at 1313 IH-35 North\, San Marcos\, Texas.\nThe support group will meet for six weeks beginning on\nMonday\, October 8\, 2012. The group session will begin\nat 6:00 PM for an hour and half. There is no cost to the\nparticipant. To register for a group\, please contact Abel\nRodriguez\, LMSW\, CTMC Hospice Care\, at (512) 754-\n0322 or email abel.rodriguez@ahss.org.\n\nOctober is upon us and soon we will be preparing for the\nholidays. But for those who have suffered a recent loss\,\nor a loss in general\, grief will overcome them at one point\nand make the holidays not so jolly.\n\nIf you or someone you know has suffered a loss\, we wish\nto invite you to participate in our "Dinner and Grief: Life\nAfter Loss" program. This program is designed by the\nAmerican Cancer Society to help bereaved people better\nunderstand the process of grief and how to live through\nit in a healing way. It also provides a place for people to\nshare their experiences and to support each other in their\ngrief. On behalf of the CTMC Family Grief Center\, dinner\nis offered as part of the process to recognize the empty\nchair.\n\nLife After Loss is designed to give the person an\nopportunity to understand the process of grief\, assess\nwhere they are\, and to learn how to cope with their grief\nafterwards. Life After Loss helps to plan for how you will\ncontinue to heal and live your life.
