SUMMARY:Texas State Tailgate Mixer
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, November 19th Texas State University Football will host the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks in a nationally televised game on ESPNU live from San Marcos.  The game will be a great opportunity to not only showcase Texas State University to a national audience\, but all of the great communities that make up our Central Texas area.  With our game being on a weekday\, we also thought this would be a great occasion to reach out to our local chambers of commerce and get them involved with a Thursday night networking mixer before the game that also includes game tickets. We did this last year and had over 500 participants!\n\n \n\nWe will host a tailgate mixer beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ending when the game starts at 8:30 p.m.  For only $10 per person\, chamber members will receive a reserved game ticket along with dinner and drinks before the game. Guest tickets are also $10.  The event will allow chamber members from other cities the opportunity to network and will allow us to fill our stands and have a great showing for our national audience.  The tailgate is located in our west side parking lot behind the Bobcat Baseball Stadium and HEB.
